| Why is it that parents never seem to actually realize that we are no longer these oblivious little children? All I wanted to do was go to a club tonight with two of my closest, respectful, mature friends, with no alcohol being served, and open to 13 and up. Is it that they don't trust us to protect ourselves? Do they honestly think that we are unable to make the correct decisions when watching out for our own well being? I understand that they don't want us to grow up, but how are we ever supposed to if they never trust us? They constantly say they are proud of the person I've become, but when the time comes for me to prove it in the real world, they are the ones failing me. I just wanted to go out and have a fun, safe time. - Location:Mom's House
